Interview with Nikki & Riawna

Q1. Who came up with the brilliant idea of the ‘Braid Bar’ concept and how long has it been open?

Riawna: The Braid Bar concept has been open for a little bit over a year now and it  was a combination of the both of us. I went on vacation and I braided my friends hair that didn’t want to get in the ocean, after that she came back to our salon every week to get a new braid. All of our clients saw it and wanted to do it so we came up with an idea similar to the ‘Blow out bar’ to make it a ‘Braid Bar.’

Q2. How many braiding styles are available and what is the most popular braid?

Nikki & Riawna: There are 8 styles and it is a tie between the Venice Hippie, and the Around the World braid.

Q3. Was there a particular celebrity that inspired a braid look?

Nikki: All of our braids are celebrity inspired, all 8 looks.
