Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco
Nestled in the heart of Tuscany's UNESCO-listed Val d'Orcia, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco is a luxurious resort that seamlessly blends centuries of history with modern elegance. Originally established as a medieval estate, it was transformed into a world-class destination by Massimo and Chiara Ferragamo, members of the renowned Italian fashion family.
In 2003, Massimo Ferragamo acquired the 5,000-acre estate, which includes ancient ruins, a medieval church, and a historic village known as the borgo. Under the Ferragamos' stewardship, the property underwent meticulous restoration, preserving its rich heritage while introducing contemporary comforts. The resort officially opened to guests in 2010 and has been managed by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts since 2015.
Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco offers 42 suites and 11 luxury villas, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the region's rustic charm. Guests can indulge in culinary delights at the Michelin-starred Ristorante Campo del Drago or the traditional Osteria La Canonica. The estate also boasts a renowned Brunello di Montalcino winery, a cooking school, a spa, and Italy's only private golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf.

Beyond its luxurious amenities, the resort provides a gateway to authentic Tuscan experiences. From wine tastings and truffle hunting to exploring nearby historic towns like Montalcino and Pienza, guests are immersed in the region's rich culture and landscapes.
Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco stands as a testament to the Ferragamo family's dedication to preserving Italian heritage while offering unparalleled luxury. It's a destination where history, culture, and elegance converge, providing an unforgettable Tuscan retreat.
