When dining at Farallon, you’re in store for a culinary experience that’s different than the time before – that’s one of the reasons I keep on coming back! Each daily-changing menu is carefully crafted with the freshest local produce, seafood, meat and game.
Over the years, Farallon has put modern twists on classic dishes and stays true to its roots. Its beautiful underwater fantasy ambiance with sea urchin and jellyfish light fixtures makes me feel like a mermaid.
The hospitality and service is top-notch. Executive Chef, Jason Ryczek is very talented and personable, making an effort to visit guests at their table.
I indulged in a variety of dishes:
- Deviled egg with caviar and truffle
- Caviar with the fixings
- Cayucos abalone bisque
- Spanish turbo
- Gnocchi with scallops
- Panna cotta with white miso and butterscotch
- Chocolate delight with gold sprinkled on top!
Farallon has something for everyone! If you’re in the casual mood, visit Me’duse Lounge for a bite of caviar or platter of oysters. Wash it down with a cocktail or glass of wine – their cocktail menu and wine selection is on point! Throughout my meal, I sipped on a spiced pear vodka cocktail that was amazing! Btw, I’m usually not a pear flavored cocktail kinda girl.
Farallon hosts inventive dinners so keep an eye on their website! This month, sign up for a Mezcal Dinner on Monday, February 24th at 7pm. Enjoy a six course tasting menu paired with six different mezcals from Neta, Cuishe and Amormata.
Thanks to Farallon restaurant team for keeping me on my toes with its ever-changing menus that are a voyage of the senses!
