Plan a weekend escape to Monterey Bay and discover why TripAdvisor travelers named Spindrift Inn the most romantic hotel in the country. It’s a boutique, European-inspired hotel located on the historic Cannery Row featuring the Monterey Bay Aquarium, shops, and restaurants.
I stayed in the Deluxe Corner Ocean View Suite and it’s very spacious (775 square feet). Lounge on a luxurious king bed and chill by the oceanfront sitting area and balcony while enjoying some lovely wine and cheese. Its large master bath includes an oversized tub and a separate shower. There is an adjoining parlor with a queen sized sofa sleeper and a half bath to accommodate extra guests. I love the convenience of access to McAbee Beach directly from the suite.
I fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean and woke up early to watch the sun rise. In the morning, the Monterey Herald newspaper was brought to my room along with a complimentary breakfast delivered on a silver tray. I especially love the warm blueberry muffins! I then made my way up to the hotel’s rooftop garden to take in panoramic views of Monterey Bay.
My experience at Spindrift Inn was very special and it was my first time staying in a suite so close to the ocean. The beautiful views will never escape from my mind!
