The Hermosa Inn is a charming boutique hotel in Paradise Valley, Arizona that’s a perfect retreat to isolate or safely socialize.
If you aren’t familiar with Paradise Valley, it’s the “Bel-Air of Arizona” featuring magnificent mansions, delightful desert views, and the coolest cactus! The Hermosa Inn is tucked within the residential area of Paradise Valley and resembles a lush oasis filled with beautiful gardens and a touch of romance.
Upon walking into our charming and spacious casita, we were greeted with gourmet snacks – homemade potato crisps and cheese crackers (aka fancy Cheez-Its), and wonderful beverages.
The restaurant onsite, LON’s is the restaurant in town! It’s a AAA Four Diamond award-winning restaurant best known for it’s globally inspired Arizona fare.
We sat outside in the courtyard near a beautiful three-tiered fountain and it was a treat that Executive Chef, Rebecca Tillman came out to say hello and introduce their latest menu to us. We started our meal with lobster and shishito pepper tempura and a beautiful hamachi dish.
For the main course, an incredible New York strip steak and scallops cooked to perfection were served. The scallops were served with celery root purée – a delicious yet unique pairing. Also, we devoured incredible mushroom tortellinis.
You cannot visit Lon’s without ordering their churro tree! The churros are perfection and served with horchata and chocolate sauces.
The Hermosa Inn is the perfect spot to eat, play, and stay in Paradise Valley! From the hotel to the restaurant, the staff pays incredible attention to detail and goes above and beyond to provide impeccable white glove service.
I had a wonderful stay at the beautiful and historic Hermosa Inn and can’t wait to visit again!
