Bibhu Mohapatra’s Spring 2017 collection was inspired by the belle époque period. This was a period of innovation and opulence throughout Europe and Mohapatra embodied this era with silk and tulle ensembles adorned with pearls and crystals. The collection featured silhouettes that were feminine yet strong. The makeup look was bold, playful, and included eye liner drawn in the shape of cat eyes and fluorescent pink lips.
