Being a classic dresser, I love to incorporate unique and bold accessories into my ensembles to add a personal touch and a lot of glamour! Ciner’s costume jewelry is so striking and chic that its bound to start a conversation with a stranger.
Kris Ciulla, VP of Sales and Design at Ciner, invited me to visit the Ciner showroom. I felt like a kid in a candy store viewing Ciner’s fabulous jewelry collection, from Swarovski encrusted starfish and lion pins, to exquisitely hand-crafted necklaces with stunning stones.
I was invited to attend Romona Keveza Collection’s VIP Presentation for Bridal Fashion Week Fall / Winter 2017. Kris and the Ciner team helped me select pieces from Ciner’s fabulous jewelry collection to update my favorite classic black dress. The inspiration for my daytime “full-on glam” look was my fabulous great Grandma Ann who had red hair and her favorite color was emerald green! With my Great Grandma in mind, I decided to select pieces of jewelry with emerald green gems.
The bracelet, earrings, and necklace I wore are part of Ciner’s “Princess Collection” and were originally designed in the 1980’s. It’s called the “Princess Collection” because there are few princesses around the world that actually own some of the pieces from the collection.
Ciner is an American jewelry brand with a fascinating history! In 1892, Emanuel Ciner pioneered his namesake company producing fine jewelry made of precious gems and metals. In 1931, Ciner transitioned to costume jewelry. To this day, each piece of jewelry is handcrafted by a team of artisans at Ciner’s factory based in New York City, and is the only American jewelry company that still makes each and every piece of jewelry in-house from start to finish. Excitingly enough, Ciner will be 125 this January. Cheers to Ciner!
