Palma de Mallorca is one of Spain’s premiere island holiday destinations and the largest of the Spanish Balearic islands. It has beaches that dreams are made of; sparkling white sand, turquoise water, and intimate coves below dramatic cliffs. We took a taxi to the central area and then walked through the charming town with tree lined streets pausing for boutique finds. A tapas lunch at an outdoor cafe lingered long into the afternoon. We rode on the double decker bus to get a feel for this quaint town. Palma’s winding streets make way to grand churches, yacht harbors, beaches, fountains and old castles. Sunbathing at various beaches and a few nights at boutique hotel Posada Terra Santa is a must for our next visit to Palma de Mallorca!!
