Hellessy’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection was inspired by the pool plunge images of American painter, Eric Zener. Founder/Designer of Hellessy, Sylvie Millstein experimented with Amalfi Coast colors, polka dot prints, and gold shimmer. Shirts that drape off the shoulders and asymmetrical silhouettes emphasized ease while exuding timeless glamour. I was especially drawn to the button down blouses as they were styled in a new way – tucked half-way in and sleeves were unbuttoned. Aveda‘s Global Artistic Director, Janell Geason created a ‘golden eye’ makeup look, and Aveda’s Lead Hair Stylist, Jon Reyman created messy-neat ‘French girl’ hair. The beauty look complimented the collection perfectly!
