Nestled in the heart of downtown Sonoma is Bungalows 313, a peaceful refuge featuring six luxurious and unique bungalows. It’s located steps away from the historic barracks and is the perfect place to indulge in a bit of history in addition to world-class food and wine!
Bungalows 313 is surrounded by a spacious and serene central courtyard featuring a fountain, large gas fire-pit area, and bocce ball court. It’s the perfect spot to chill with a glass of Sonoma wine in hand and soak up the good life.
Each of the bungalows range in size, but similarly they have their own private entry directly from the beautifully landscaped courtyard. I personally stayed in the Terra bungalow, a newly renovated two-bedroom one and one-half bath bungalow with beautiful interior rock walls. Other unique features included exposed steel reinforced beams and antique theater chandeliers. The vibe reminded me of Sonoma meets the Cotswolds.
Each bedroom was a haven of comfort and style, with a sumptuous king-sized bed adorned with premium linens, plush pillows, and a fluffy duvet. The comfy arrangements ensured a restful night’s sleep. When traveling it’s always nice to have a spacious bathroom and on that note I was pleased to find both a deep soaking clawfoot bathtub and walk in shower in the master bath.
The well-equipped kitchen was a delight and there’s a beautiful dining table that’s perfect for an intimate dinner. One of my favorite rooms was the living room as it’s impeccably designed and there’s a fireplace surrounded by a comfortable seating area.
During my stay I appreciated the convenient location of the bungalow as it allowed me to explore the downtown Sonoma area with its charming shops, gourmet restaurants, and local attractions. In addition to the complimentary bottle of local wine upon arrival, a nice perk of staying at Bungalows 313 is that guests are provided with a wine tasting passport to 31 local wineries and tasting rooms.
Outside of wine tasting, I enjoyed getting my steps in walking around town, as well as hiking Sonoma Overlook. Once I got to the top of Sonoma Overlook I was in awe of the stunning view of the Sonoma Valley with Spring flowers sprinkled in. It was quite a sight!
Bungalows 313 is a chic and serene hideaway that makes one’s worries melt away. Its the perfect place for so many different occasions and its prime location allows one to enjoy the best of Sonoma!
