Claremont Club & Spa, A Fairmont Hotel is a newly restored urban resort that’s uniquely positioned to offer the best of the Bay Area. Just twelve miles from San Francisco, take in stunning views of the city skyline and San Francisco Bay. Originally a romantic castle at the start of the Gold Rush and later a grand hotel, Claremont Club & Spa is a property rich with history and tradition. The vibe is a mix of old world charm and California comfort. You’ll never be bored with the endless activities onsite!
The Club, the resort’s private club open to members and hotel guests offers a 10,000 square-foot fitness center, 90+ daily fitness classes, 10 tennis courts and three swimming pools. Treat yourself to a day at the Fairmont Spa, A Forbes Four-star rated establishment! Relaxation areas for men and women feature eucalyptus steam rooms, saline whirlpools, deluge showers and multihead bathing showers.
The Claremont’s newly renovated guest rooms are contemporary and peaceful. The deep soaking tub and Le Labo bath products are a highlight!
There are three distinct restaurants and bars onsite serving fine dining, craft cocktails, poolside cuisine, and everything in between for a true Bay Area culinary experience. I enjoyed brunch at Limewood, a vibrant, casual restaurant showcasing regionally-sourced cuisine.
After, I made my way to the Hillary Tenzing Room to lounge. Tucked just off the main lobby, this uniquely designed space celebrates the legacies of Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, the first climbers to summit Mt. Everest. The one-of-a-kind artifacts and artwork is fascinating. It’s sophisticated and the perfect place for guests to relax and mingle.
The Claremont Club & Spa is the perfect place to #EatPlayStay in the Bay!
