The Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance is North America’s premier wooden boat show. This year it took place at Obexer’s Boat Company located on Lake Tahoe’s West Shore. The scenic lake views provided a stunning backdrop to display mahogany works of art.
Concours d’Elegance was established in 1972 when a group of Tahoe Yacht Club members got together to share their passion for wooden boats. Today, the event has grown into a key part of Lake Tahoe maritime preservation.
Over the course of its 50-year legacy, Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance has created its own meticulous 100-point judging system. The judges of the event include some of the most knowledgeable individuals in the antique and classic boating community.
Presented by the Tahoe Yacht Club Foundation, Wooden Boat Week was filled with exclusive social events that included an Opening Night Gala dinner, luncheon at a private estate, and much more. If you’re a boat enthusiast this is the place be in the Summertime!
