Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is a sophisticated Southwestern stay in the heart of Santa Fe. It’s an ideal getaway for travelers looking for a safe road trip or staycation.
Upon arrival, I was struck by how welcoming and accommodating the staff are. As the staff unpacked my car, I took in the Inn’s beautiful architecture that blends perfectly into the town.
Walking into the intimate lobby, I immediately felt right at home. As I strolled to my room, I admired intricately hand-carved doors and incredible art pieces crafted by local artisans.
The Deluxe Room I stayed in had an elegant and modern aesthetic, but has touches that are reminiscent of Pueblo living. The traditional wooden ceiling of vigas and latillas is a centerpiece as well as the beautifully crafted kiva fireplace. The room was sparkling clean and it was nice that the Inn provided extra masks for guests.
After a long drive, we settled in and sipped on tequila in beautiful Rosewood branded flute glasses. It sure took the edge off!
We then headed downstairs to The Anasazi Restaurant, I was excited to see what was in store at this culinary destination! The restaurant serves dishes that embrace the Inn’s Southwestern and Native heritage. It’s constantly evolving menu keeps foodies on their toes! We sat in a socially distanced indoor setting and soaked up the ambiance.
Start out with their iconic tortilla soup – it’s a dish that’s always on their menu. What makes it extra special is the melted cheese incorporated throughout.
Shrimp grilled to perfection paired with mango salsa followed! I washed it down with an prickly pear margarita with black salt on the rim.
Once beautifully presented lamb chops with crispy onions were presented in front of me, my eyes became too big for my stomach! My boyfriend, Matthew had beef medallions with cinnamon and spices.
To settle our sweet tooth, we had flan and cheesecake. Both were picture perfect and tasted delightful!
After a hearty meal, we headed back to our sanctuary of a room and quickly fell asleep on the plush bed.
The following morning, we rose with the sun and started the day off with breakfast delivered to our room. Throughout my stay, I enjoyed trying a variety of items on the menu: the breakfast quesadilla, breakfast burrito, and pancakes.
Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is the perfect spot to eat, play and stay in Santa Fe! There’s plenty to explore in Santa Fe and I can now see why it’s called, the “Land of Enchantment”.

I’d love to visit Santa Fe and stay at Anasazi. The food looks incredible, I’m having what you had if it’s still on the menu when we get there.
