As you enter the gates and into the world of ru’s Farm Cottages, you’ll be greeted by the picturesque surroundings of lush green fields, towering trees, and the gentle whispers of nature.
There are two charming cottages on site that are uniquely designed and perfectly blend luxe wine country design and rustic charm. During my time at ru’s Farm I stayed in Coop cottage, a modern farmhouse that can host up to six people. It features beamed ceilings, painted barnwood doors, and a fully equipped kitchen featuring all of the appliances and cookware needed to make a delightful meal. One can enjoy a memorable meal with a group of friends in either of the beautifully designed indoor and outdoor seating areas. Each evening I enjoyed lounging on the private outdoor deck with a glass of ru’s wine in hand watching the sun set over the vineyards. The cottage is perfect for entertaining and the incredibly spacious outdoor hot tub is a highlight. Each evening I soaked under the stars before making my way to bed. The California King bed was fit for royalty and was topped with organic bedding from Coyuchi. These luxurious and thoughtful details made for a restful night’s sleep!
ru’s Farm is the perfect place to “mosey” around and connect with nature. Each morning, I enjoyed strolling the sprawling grounds featuring fragrant roses, lavender, rosemary, and 100-year-old olive trees. My brisk morning walk was followed by a cup of local Flying Goat Coffee, compliments of ru’s Farm.

This family-owned and operated winery is known for its exceptional wines and mesmerizing wine caves that are sure to leave you in awe.
Before indulging in a seated tasting and tour at Bella I hiked the picturesque Lily Hill on property. After the hike, I quenched my thirst with a flight of Bella wines that included various white and red wines as well as rosé. The cave’s natural stone walls and vaulted ceilings created a cozy and intimate ambiance that’s perfect for savoring the exquisite wines that Bella has to offer. Our host guided us through a curated selection of wines, sharing the stories behind each bottle.
