Chalk Hill Estate in Healdsburg knows how to throw a party! I visited the spectacular 1300-acre property for Soirée Blanc, celebrating the winery’s golden 50th anniversary. It took place atop the highest point of the estate, Ridge Park, featuring stunning 360-degree views. One can see stunning views of the Russian River Valley to the west and the Mayacamas Mountains to the east. From afar, I admired the winery’s 300 acres of vineyards as they are thoughtfully contoured to fit the terrain.
New 2020 Chardonnays were poured for guests dressed to the nines in crisp summertime whites. The wines paired perfectly with gourmet bites made by Chalk Hill’s Estate Chef. With a four-acre organic culinary garden onsite one can enjoy the freshest fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
The Caviar Company attended the soirée as well and guests could help themselves to as many blinis with caviar as they desired! Guests ate, drank and danced the day away to live music. In addition to playing lawn games, guests mingled and socialized at perhaps Healdsburg’s coolest event of the Summer.

Overall, I had a wonderful time at Soirée Blanc and it was nice to see Bill Foley there celebrating the 50th anniversary of his winery. I look forward to attending more of Chalk Hill’s world-class events in the future as well as experiencing other wineries that are members of Foley Food & Wine Society.
