Home to yachts big and small, Marina del Rey is the perfect Southern California getaway for those that enjoy the finer things in life. It’s a hidden gem that’s located right next door to Venice Beach and Santa Monica.
I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey and it’s as close to the marina as you can get! The moment you step into the lobby, you’ll experience the Ritz-Carlton treatment, impeccable service and luxurious accommodations.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely bottle of Chandon and enjoyed a glass (or two) while taking in stunning harbor views.
After, we headed downstairs for a wonderful dinner at Cast & Plow located just above the docks. It was very kind that Executive Chef, Eric Duchene stopped by to say hello!
We enjoyed fresh scallop and salmon dishes that were cooked to perfection!
To settle our sweet tooth, we shared a piece of decadent chocolate cake and pineapple empanadas – too delicious!
After such a delicious and decadent meal, you’ll be sure to fall asleep the moment you get back to your room.
After a good nights rest, we were ready to go out on the marina with Bella Boating! We sailed on a luxurious fifty foot SeaRay Sundancer 400 with husband and wife team, Rob and Linda Kessler. They were both great hosts who provided us insight into Marina del Rey and the boating community.
If you’re seeking a little slice of serenity while in Los Angeles, visit Marina del Rey. It’s the perfect place to Eat, Play and Stay!
Marina Del Rey looks like a perfect place for a sunny getaway, I’m ready! Will definitely check it out next time we head to Southern Ca. ☀️ 🛥
