Adventure awaits you at The St. Regis Deer Valley – a luxurious ski-in/ski-out resort located within the gated Deer Crest community. Guests receive access to world-class skiing minus the crowds and the resort is a five minute drive from Park City’s charming Main Street.
Pulling up to the hotel, the valet warmly welcomed us and immediately offered to deliver all luggage to our room. We then entered the funicular (a gondola-like tram that ascended a steep slope) and began our ascent. Looking down on the valley below, you feel like you are in a winter wonderland!
We settled into a spacious one bedroom suite with a private balcony and took in picturesque views of the Wasatch Valley. There’s plush bedding and a couple of stone fireplaces, adding a luxurious and cozy vibe.
Inside our room we found a sweet surprise awaiting us – a beautiful platter of cookies from around the world and a thoughtful welcome note. The cookie assortment included Chocolate Chip (USA), Madeline (France), Biscotti (Italy), and Alfajores (popular in Argentina and Uruguay with origins in the Middle East and Spain).
The resort offers something for everyone! If on-mountain activities aren’t your thing, perhaps unwind at Remède Spa and enjoy a treatment. After, take a dip in the heated pool then the jacuzzi. Also, if you want to explore Park City, a St. Regis chauffeur will escort you to spots within a five mile radius.
There are three dining venues onsite and the vibe ranges from casual to fancy. We had brunch at RIME serving traditional American cuisine. The food, cocktails and service are top-notch!
We started our meal with a crisp Bibb Salad with Fall flavors.
I dined on a Maine lobster roll – it was rich, buttery and delicious!
My boyfriend, Matthew had Idaho Trout.
Did you know that each hotel and resort in the St. Regis portfolio has crafted its own unique, locally inspired interpretation of the brand’s signature cocktail? If you’re a Bloody Mary lover, be sure to order a 7452. It’s an enticing blend of the St. Regis’ famous Bloody Mary mix and fine oat-distilled Vodka 7000 from local High West Distillery. It’s served with a black salt rim and a wasabi-celery foam.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at The St. Regis Deer Valley! Each staff member that we interacted with provided exceptional customer service and made sure that we were well taken care of. Make sure not to miss the resort’s included activities, like daily s’mores and Champagne sabering.
I hope to visit the resort again and perhaps next time experience the property in the warmer months as there’s great mountain biking and hiking opportunities!
