The stunning Timber Cove is perched on a dramatic bluff, framing California’s coastline. Sleep to the sound of crashing waves and wake up to views of the forest and ocean. It’s easy to see why the Timber Cove area has attracted artists and intellectuals, such as renowned photographer, Ansel Adams.
The vibe of the Ocean View room I stayed in was lux-rustic and retro with a pour over coffee setup and a Crosley LP record player. I enjoyed sitting out on the redwood deck featuring expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Beniamono Bufano’s 93-foot sculpture “Peace Obelisk”. It was cool to spot a couple of whales!
The full-service restaurant onsite, Coast Kitchen, features stunning views and serves delicious dishes sourced from local vendors. In addition, wine pairings from predominantly Sonoma-based vineyards.
