Mary Alice Stephenson<\/span> <\/a>and her GLAM4GOOD<\/span><\/a><\/span> styling team turned 70 deserving girls into prom queens at the Metropolitan Museum of Art <\/span><\/a><\/span>in New York City. It was an absolute prom #GLAMSLAM! There is no better feeling than helping young women feel empowered, inspired, confident, and beautiful for their high school proms!<\/p>\n

The young ladies were selected from three organizations, Peace Is A Lifestyle<\/span><\/a>, KIPP NYC<\/span><\/a> and Links, Inc<\/span><\/a><\/span>.\u00a0GLAM4GOOD partnered with the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute to create a prom-themed fashion event. The\u00a0teens\u00a0were\u00a0led through a tour of the Costume Institute’s stunning “Charles James: Beyond Fashion<\/span><\/a>” exhibition,\u00a0showcasing\u00a0the career of legendary fashion designer Charles James. They were then escorted\u00a0into a prom-themed style workshop. To top off the prom #GLAMSLAM, the young ladies strutted down a red carpet dressed to the nines and sang \u2018I am beautiful\u2019 on the steps of the MET (gives me goosebumps just thinking about it).<\/p>\n
